I Wuff You!

Oh Valentine's Day... you polarizing day you. Even the most cynical of critics of this "Hallmark" holiday would be won over by these sweethearts! That's right, I got to photograph puppies! [The pinnacle of cutesy] I teamed up with Kathy of the fabulous BONE APPETITe to celebrate My Furry Valentine! There were sales galore, puppy treats, people treats... we even raised a little money for The Humane Society. Here is a peak at the adorableness that filled my day. Enjoy!

AAAARG! While searching around for photos for competition prints, I came across this cute shot from Christmas vacation of the fabulous Ashley & Rich of Pizzuti Studios. I just love love love them! Time flies when you have awesome clients! So yes... is been W A Y too long since my last post and I can't wait to catch up on all the sweet stuff I've been up to! I couldn't think of a better way to kick back off than with Dylan & Caylyne! The shoot was exactly on their one year anniversary, on the very beach they met! They are so stinking cute & in love! [You'll see, it's pretty obvious] We started off at a super colorful ice cream shop before hitting up the beach on Anna Maria Island. I had so much fun and we got some sweet stuff. [pun intended] They even bought me ice cream! So yeah, pretty much made it the best day ever. :) Enjoy the pics!

The luckiest | Olathe Family Portraits

It doesn't feel like all that long ago since I photographed Katie & Zach's wedding. I was dragging my feet about it. I, like most photogs, was still shooting film & was terrified something would go wrong & I would ruin their wedding. But, Katie talked me into it & everything went great. I went digital the next year & decided weddings weren't so scary. (I've shot 100's since- Thanks Katie!) Fast forward 7 years, 4 camera body upgrades & 3 kids to this rockin' family photo shoot. They are pretty much the coolest family ever. I had a total blast! They are all crazy photogenic. Ray, the oldest, even tipped me $.52! Clearly, I made an impression. :) Perhaps one day I'll be shooting her wedding & think, "man, it seems like just yesterday I was taking their family photos..."

A family that prays together...

Once upon a time, I went to college in Kirksville, MO. This is where I met my bestest friend Mariana. Flash forward... um, a good number of years... and as luck would have it, we live just a couple hours away from each other in Florida! [ALMOST neighbors] She finally talked her hubby Nathan into working it for some family photos. We took most of them inside All Souls Catholic Church & I LOVE them!! This is where Mariana & Nathan were married & both kidos were baptized. They are SUCH a beautiful family! [ok, I'm totally biased, but am I wrong?!] Soak in the good-lookingness :)

Poor kid, just doesn't seem to like the camera ;)
